Wrestlers in grades 2–8 will be introduced to the basics of wrestling at Festus Intermediate Gym. October 20–22 and 27–29, 2026 from 6:30–8:00 PM.

Two-Week Beginners Camp

Come experience wrestling and see if it is a fit. Camp builds wrestling fundamentals, agility, balance, speed, discipline, work ethic, confidence, and sportsmanship.

Coaches will evaluate participants during camp. At the end of camp, available FYWC spots for the 2026–27 wrestling season may be offered.

Consent & Submission

Consent to participate and release of liabilityI hereby give my consent for the above named wrestler to participate in any Festus Youth Wrestling Club (FYWC) training, events, and competitions. I understand the possibility of physical injury associated with wrestling, which may include but not limited to paralysis, permanent mental disability, and death and hereby release, discharge, and otherwise indemnify FYWC program, Festus School District, coaches, volunteers, and anyone associated with the organization, and affiliated organizations against any claim by or on behalf of the wrestler named above as a result of the wrestler's participation in the FYWC program.Consent to medical treatment and emergency transportationI hereby give my consent to have an athletic trainer, coach, emergency medical technician, nurse, medical facility, and/or doctor of medicine or dentistry or associated personnel provide the wrestler with medical assistance and/or treatment and agree to be financially responsible for the cost of such assistance and/or treatment. I understand treatment for an injury will be based on information provided herein. I hereby authorize emergency transportation of the wrestler to a medical treatment facility should an individual listed above consider it to be warranted.I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian submitting this enrollment, that the information is accurate, and that I have reviewed the privacy notice and website terms.
