Registration, practices, equipment, and tournaments—organized in one place.
Registration for FYWC's 2026 two-week beginners camp for grades 2 through 8 costs $10. Complete the online camp registration first, then pay the $10 separately through FYWC's PayPal. This website does not collect or verify the PayPal payment. Wrestling-group admission is a separate process: $180 per wrestler without tournament entries or $300 per wrestler with three tournament entries.
The $10 fee is for FYWC's 2026 two-week beginners camp, which introduces wrestlers in grades 2 through 8 to wrestling basics. The separate wrestling-group admission fee includes a club T-shirt, an AAU card, and two practices each week with certified USA Wrestling/AAU coaches. The $180 option does not include tournament entries; the $300 option includes three tournament entries.
No. USA cards can be purchased independently for an additional cost.
The recurring practice schedule shown by FYWC is Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30 PM–8:00 PM, at Festus Intermediate School. See the Schedule page for each session and check club notices before attending.

Wrestlers are required to have wrestling shoes, a shirt with sleeves (no sleeveless shirts are allowed), and shorts for practices. Head gear is not required for practice.
Wrestlers will need wrestling shoes and a singlet for tournaments. Singlets can be rented from the club for a $50.00 deposit paid by check. The deposit is returned at the end of the season if the singlet is returned undamaged; the club keeps the deposit if the singlet is not returned or has damage or wear and tear. Singlets can also be purchased from the FYWC store. Headgear is required at all USA Wrestling tournaments.
Parents are encouraged to sit in on the first few practices of the season to understand how the coaches teach and which techniques are being taught. After that, the club asks that parents do not attend so wrestlers are not distracted, remain focused, and listen to their coaches' instruction.
The club strongly encourages waiting until a wrestler's second year in the sport before signing them up for a first tournament. Wrestling is a very tough sport that requires confidence and mental toughness, and signing a wrestler up too soon can discourage them from attending future events if they experience a loss. That said, parents and guardians can sign a wrestler up when they feel the wrestler is ready — please make sure the club will have coaches attending before registering.
